TYPHOON MAYSAK CA– USES MINOR DAMAGE TO DENTAL CLINIC

post-typhoonTyphoon Maysak hit Chuuk on March 29th, 2015 with winds exceeding 100 MPH. It was a direct hit with the Chuuk Dental Clinic passing through the eye-of-the-storm. The two volunteers at the dental clinic were safe in the dental clinic and the volunteer housing experienced minor damage. We appreciate our contractor volunteer Keith Paasch who supervised and repaired the roof and damaged wall to the clinic the first week of April 2015. You can see pictures of the dental clinic right after the Typhoon on our Facebook page. The attached picture is after the repairs and shows the expansion of the outdoor waiting area.
